What changes the offer

The make, model and condition, whether it runs, and how easy it is to reach are what each business is pricing. Describe the car the same way to each one, so the offers line up.

A high phone offer means little if it drops when the driver sees the car. Ask each business directly whether their figure is fixed.

Before the car is collected

Take your belongings out, including anything in the boot and the glovebox. Remove tags, cards and anything else linked to you.

Keep a copy of the receipt with the date and the car's details.
